Brutal Task Manager
Brutal Task Manager is an experimental project that combines task management with a brutalist design philosophy. It strips away all non-essential design elements to provide a raw, high-contrast, and purely functional user experience. The focus is on clarity and speed, embracing the core principles of brutalism in web design.

Challenge
In an era where every app tries to be a "super-app", I often found myself lost in thousands of features I didn't actually need. Excessive notifications, loud colors, and complex interfaces become mental pollution for professionals who just want to record one thing: "What should I finish today?"
Approach
I started an experiment with the Digital Brutalism philosophy. I stripped away all gradients, soft shadows, and unnecessary animations. I used sharp monospaced fonts and extreme color contrasts. My main focus was latency—how to allow myself to open the app and add a task in less than two seconds.
Outcome
The result is a tool that feels raw yet very honest. Brutal Task Manager doesn't try to entertain the user; it exists only to work. I found that focus levels increased because eyes are no longer distracted by decorative elements. Simplicity becomes the most effective distraction-destroying force.
