DAS Motors Surabaya: Car Dealer Prototype
DAS Motors is a web application prototype designed for a modern car dealership. This project showcases a vehicle inventory with search and filter capabilities, as well as detail pages for each car. The goal was to demonstrate how Next.js can be used to create a fast, dynamic, and SEO-friendly site for the automotive industry.
Challenge
The automotive industry is a visual industry. Car buyers want to see every body curve and interior detail in high resolution. The problem is, dealer websites often become slow and heavy due to massive image files.
Approach
I built this prototype with one goal: Instant Visual Gratification. Using Next.js and advanced image optimization techniques, I ensured images only load when needed and are served in the lightest format without sacrificing quality.
Outcome
DAS Motors proves that a fast website is a selling website. With load times dropping below 1 second, visitor engagement increased significantly, strengthening customer trust in the brand.
